North East Cane and Bamboo Development Council received a pioneering bamboo wine production technology developed by the College of Food Technology.
The technology was developed under the research project “Exploring the Potential of Bamboo Wine: Production, Properties and Market Viability”. The innovation seeks to promote value addition in bamboo resources, create new livelihood opportunities and enhance the commercial potential of bamboo-based products in Northeast India.
