  5. AssamSat will enhance disaster management by monitoring floods, landslides, and river water levels, improving early warning systems.
  6. Urban planning will benefit from AssamSat’s high-resolution geospatial data, aiding smart city development and traffic management.
  7. The satellite will strengthen environmental conservation by tracking forest cover changes, illegal encroachments, and poaching activities.
  8. AssamSat will support border security and law enforcement with real-time imaging and surveillance capabilities.
  9. ISRO will facilitate space education for 800 students from Northeast India, including 100 from Assam, to promote STEM careers.
  10. The AssamSat project is being executed with support from IN-SPACe, aligning it with India’s space policy and global standards.
