The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has launched an annual FASTag toll pass, with 1.4 lakh users availing it on the first day. Operational across 1,150 toll plazas, the pass allows unlimited travel for non-commercial vehicles at Rs 3,000, valid for one year or up to 200 crossings.
Activation occurs via the Rajmargyatra App or NHAI website, with SMS alerts for zero toll deductions. NHAI has deployed officials and strengthened grievance mechanisms to ensure smooth implementation, aiming to enhance commuter convenience and streamline digital tolling nationwide.
