Tenzing Bodosa is an environmentalist who has built Elephant friendly tea gardens
He started growing tea organically in the year 2007, and in the same year he became the only cultivator who organically cultivated tea .He has two farms in Bodoland territorial area of Kachibari village in Udalguri district , which have been certified as the world’s largest elephant-friendly farms.
He has built a Tea Estate co-existing with forest animals, growing green corridors (food species) for elephants in between his estate, an example of eco-tourism and forest livelihood
