The Prime Minister launched BSNL’s fully indigenous 4G network stack along with nearly 98,000 mobile towers across the country.
The system runs on a cloud-native architecture, enabling smooth upgrades and flexible deployment. Since it is built entirely on an Indian stack, it enhances security, reduces dependence on foreign vendors, and improves resilience.
A key feature is its future-readiness: the deployed 4G towers can be directly upgraded to 5G without major hardware replacement, ensuring cost-effective and rapid transition.
