Prime Minister Narendra Modi today unveiled the 125-feet Statue of Valour in Jorhat

Construction Design by: Ram Vanji Sutar who designed the Statue of Unity

Lachit statue is 84 feet tall and stands on a 41 feet pedestal ( total 125 feet)

Foundation laid in 2022 February by Ram Nath Kovind

( note: before the Statue of unity, the Spring temple Buddha of China was the tallest statue in the world)
