Shimmering Odyssey, a documentary from India, has been officially selected for the 8th Festival Internacional de Cine de la No-Violencia Activa (FICNOVA) 2026 in Spain, an international film festival dedicated to the themes of peace and non-violence. The documentary is produced and directed by Prasun Goswami and Raunak Shivhare, while the editing has been done by Dhiraj Mazumder, a government school teacher from Assam.
Prasun Goswami, an alumnus of the Tezpur University (Department of Chemistry), has contributed to bringing Assamese talent to the global stage through this international recognition, highlighting the growing presence of filmmakers from Assam in world cinema.
