AstroSat, India’s first multi-wavelength space observatory, has completed a decade in orbit since its launch on 28 September 2015 aboard PSLV-C30.

The mission marked a milestone in India’s space science capability, enabling astronomers to study the universe across ultraviolet, visible, soft X-ray, and hard X-ray bands simultaneously.

It is a collaborative project of ISRO along with leading Indian research institutes, supported by international partners like Canada and the UK, making it a globally significant achievement in space-based astronomy.
