Parbati Barua is an animal conservation activist and an elephant tamer and caretaker.She has close bonding with 102 nos of elephant over the last 50 years .In 1989 , she received the Global- 500 role of Honor from the United Nations Environment Programme .The BBC has made a documentary about her and her work as “ The Queen of Elephants “
She has been working on human-elephant conflict issues since Past 30 years .
