Assam’s Lovlina Borgohain won the silver medal in the women’s 75 kg boxing event at the Commonwealth Games 2026, finishing runner-up in the final. The achievement adds another milestone to her distinguished international boxing career.
Hailing from Baro Mukhia village in Golaghat district, Lovlina is an Olympic bronze medallist (Tokyo 2020) and the 2023 IBA Women’s World Boxing Champion, and remains one of India’s leading boxers on the global stage.
