India has launched the Responsible Nations Index, a global composite framework that assesses countries on ethical governance, social well-being, environmental stewardship and responsible global conduct, rather than narrow GDP- or power-based metrics.
Introduced under the aegis of the World Intellectual Foundation, the index seeks to redefine national success by embedding inclusiveness, sustainability, ethical responsibility and global cooperation into the idea of nationhood.
