- Assam’s Dibrugarh District administration has directed all coaching centres to immediately comply with fire and life safety norms, warning that non-compliant institutions may face sealing and other legal action.
- Institutions must adhere to the National Building Code of India, 2016 (Part 4 – Fire and Life Safety) and submit a compliance report within 10 days.
- The report must include valid Fire Safety Certificates/No Objection Certificates (NOCs), building safety documents, and other prescribed records.
