Assam will host dedicated Digital Life Certificate Campaign-dedicated camps in around 25 cities and towns for November 2024. This initiative has been taken to support the National Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 3.0
Additionally, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) will seek to provide assistance for pensioners by updating Aadhaar records and resolving technical issues, ensuring smooth DLC generation across Assam.
The DLC initiative uses Aadhaar-based Face Authentication for the timely allocation of pensions, allowing pensioners to submit certificates conveniently via smartphones, and also reducing the need for physical visits to pension offices
