Assam government has approved the establishment of the Assam International Skill Centre (AISC) under ASDM to facilitate overseas placements for skilled and semi-skilled workers.
AISC aims to provide an ethical and systematic pathway for candidates seeking global opportunities. It will operate under a hub-and-spoke model, with the main hub in Guwahati and centers across the State.
This initiative has been taken to align Assam’s workforce with international labor demands, which could further boost employability and strengthen global integration.
